I recently purchased an Asus G1SN in the UK from asuslaptop.co.uk before I knew about how bad Asus UK after care was.

I have zero confidence in Asus UK and if something went wrong, depending on how bad it was I would probably send it to Apex laptop repairs instead (used them in the past).

So I know there is more chance of winning the lotto than this but has anyone had a positive experience with Asus in the UK, particularly RMA's or replacements, refunds etc.

I think it is such a shame because I have done much research and think the Asus G1SN will be a great Laptop for my Gaming needs.

In the UK? I don't know how Asia support is but UK is definitely horribly incompetent from all the (public) customer feedback that I've seen on this website. Additionally, at least when handling RMAs from other countries (UK, Luxembourg, Belgium), ASUS Holland aren't far behind in unwilligness to help (if perhaps not in incompetence).

There is a Laptop / PDA repair place (Apex) that I have used before with a turnaround of a few days. I contacted them about maybe doing some kind of discount for forum members because if I ever have any problems and send my Laptop to UK diservice centres, I will probably never see it again or it will return in 1 year with faulty RAM and a smashed up screen.

It sounds like they need to have some legal action taken against them if you ask me.
