Any way to find out if V6va has IPS without looking at it?

Was just wondering if there was a way to find out.

Like if there was a serial number 'key' or something...

Or if its possible to distinguish it by looking at it(It's not me though, it's someone else but they don't even know about IPS. They bought it in mid December in Canada if that helps)

Vertical viewing angles........ it's really the only way and obviously you have to look at it to see........ it would be close to 150 degrees.......... lets just say better than your Z70va....... better than any other notebook you've seen. No one NEEDS a vertical viewing angle like that, but it's one way you can tell and from there... blacks are better.... basically everything that's good about a glaretype display, just slightly better.

The thing is that I don't have it and I can't compare it.

I gotta explain to someone who wants to know :p

Is what ceiph mentioned true? I doubt it but hey ;)

    Thanks for the info
