The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anyone Successfully get the HDD Bracket for the G50 Series?

    I'm curious to see if anyone has grabbed one and when they got it.

    I got a G50VT-x6 from newegg at the beginning of February and Asus hasn't had the G50V-1A HDD in stock since I got my laptop.

    I emailed them with no response. If anyone got one from a vendor other than asus, that would be nice to know also!
