    Anyone else noticed this about the G50VT series?

    Other than G50VT-X1, the other ones use a black lid.

    For some laptops, the top section of this black lid is black.
    For some other ones, the top section is orange.

    I believe the X2 also has that orange bit on the lid, based on the newegg photos. Thankfully my A1 has a nice black lid, so it actually looks quite classy when closed, apart from that awful ROG logo on the lid.
