Anyone give the WinXP x64 bit driver for soundMAX audio device

hey guys!

I just searched the driver for soundMAX audio device within my A8JR for almost 10 days. It just going to drive my crazy. What I need is just my microphone can work well under Windows XP x64 environment.

I write a mail to soundMAX, they gave me no reponse. The soundMAX truly do not give any driver, all what it give is the official site link of your notebook manufactuer, it sounds funny. And I write a mail to ASUS official site in Taiwan, they also ignore my mail. Thus, I got to find it on myself. I tried almost 100 site, and downloaded about 20 possibly driver. And I tried one by one, also re-install again and again. In the best situation, the device can record but the speaker make no sounds, or the speaker is okay but the microphone cannot be use.

Please help me!

Since lost of people use 32 bit OS in Taiwan, I cannot get anymore information about the 64 bit driver. Thus, I found here, just hoping you can give me some idea.

There is no advantage of using Windows XP 64 bit. Go use 32 bit XP or 32/64 bit Vista.

MCH: It wouldn't matter if you were running 32 bit... apparently this is a problem with the SoundMax driver regardless of version. I have searched roughly 4-5 hours now and still haven't found a f'n answer yet!!!
