    hello

    i'm thinking of getting one of these. i've looked at the specs, and they seem pretty good for the price. just wondering about things like how the speakers are, how the screen is on each model, how battery life is, how often the fan is on, how hot it gets, etc. i've read the two reviews on the forum here and one for the f3jp. the sole review i can locate on the web for the f3sv is very short and not comprehensive at all - from pcworld australia.

    in any case, if anyone who has one could relate their experiences with either notebook it would be great. if there are no big problems with it, i'd like to pick one up soon along with another 1gb stick of ram.

    and just to make sure, pc2 5400 would work for this notebook?

    Why do you need another stick of ram?
    Surely 2gb is enough?

    Does anyone know if this model comes with a mic?
