    Before I buy a U1E I need to know if the trackpad can support multitouch with latest synaptic drivers? I can't live without my gestures.

    It should -- but the U1 was never a popular model and few users around here ever had one.

    You might want to contact one of the resellers (i.e. GenTechPC) and ask that question directly if you don't get more direct answers.
