    Anyone know how to lock the Function (Fn) on a GX701GX?

    Hey gals and guys, just like title says anyone know how to lock Fn key so that I can easily change brightness and performance mode? Thanks in advance and may the force be with you!

    Hi there. I've never seen an example of a way to lock an Fn key, but I have seen some systems have a menu in the BIOS to make the primary action of function keys to be changed to multimedia by default. What that means is you have to hold down Fn to get the normal F1-F12 functionality and by default they work the opposite of normal. So, that is sort of what you are looking to accomplish. Have you checked in your BIOS to see if there is a way to change that.

    Hey there, yeah I checked the Bios and Armory Crate app but no go. I’m an avid ROG gaming laptop user but I just got the GX701GX and it strange that I can’t seem to find the answer. I must not be the only one looking for this feature. So thanks for the info and your time for answering back. I’m kind of baffled lol.
