    Anyone know more about the Asus W90vp-A1 delay?

    I just saw the ETA from www.1toppc.com jump from may 20th to june 2nd, just wondering if you guys knew anything about what is going on.

    xoticpc will have the same/similar ETA for the W90 as gentech and other Asus resellers. They're all waiting for the W90 shipment from Taiwan.

    Yes, I couldn't find the www.xoticpc.com ETA, so I was using gentech as an example...but does anyone know what is taking so long?

    The ETA suppose to be May 20th but they said it may delay till June 2nd, but they also said there are still chance (small chance) to receive the shipment on May 22nd.

    They delay is because some component shortage, also W90Vp production/QC take longer than other models.

    from taiwan? according to what i know, all w90vp are made in china. if latter batches are from taiwan, there should be a improvment of quality compared wiwith former batches but whether the next batch will come from taiwan is doubtful

    As of yesterday there are two shipments arriving. One in the last week of May and one June 2nd.
