The only places I know where to get one are ibuypower and cyberpowerpc.com, but I don't trust either of those california based value pc dealers. I recently sent an ms 1029 back to ibuypower for a full refund because it had multiple defects on delivery and I would like to avoid doing business with them again if at all possible. Rawpowerpc sells many of the same laptops as ibuypower and cyberpower and also have a much higher customer satisfaction rating but they don't carry the asus z81-sp.

Could somebody plz direct me to a respectable dealer that sells the z81-sp for a reasonable price???

    Hi guys,

I lurk occasionally when I have time, and updated a signature with a disclaimer. One model we're trying to help push right now is the Z81Sp so it was pretty disconcerting to find a poster asking where to buy one....sorry for not calling you out Eddie but posted mentioned Rawpowerpc already so it was okay to point out they did carry it.

I won't be posting anything "official" on the forums guys, rest assured. Anything posted are my own thoughts - posted on my personal time.

Thanks guys and have a great day!

That's crazy and cool at the same time.
I have never actually met another Sasha...
Sasha is the derivative of Alexander btw. ;)

Its not a drivative. You have either ukranian or polish or some type of slavic in your blooodline, i am sure you know that. Sasha is the childhood/common law name for alexander in europe. When you grow up the people you dont know will address you formally by alexander. In the states there is no such thing as age differentiation. Here when you speak to people you address them by you. There when you speak to elders you adress them with a higher more powerfull "you". Well i dont need to give you a lesson where your name comes from. But if your birth certificate says sasha its technically a shortened slang name. Never did the name sasha exist as a given name in europe. It was always Alexander. Sasha was the "friendly" name and extremely popular. In brooklyn 1 out of every 5 ukranians/russians are Sasha. So if you walk down Brighton beach (a primarily ukranian community) and yell out "Sashaaa" you gonna get alot of people giving you the evil eye.

Well take this as good advise. If you stay and make your presence known asus sales will only increase. There is no downside to you staying here other then you stealing our (resellers) glory. I vote you stay and make your self comfortable. :asus:

Thanks for lecturing me on my own name. :p
Yes, Sasha is a derivative of Alexander.
It's a shorthand for it, so therefore...
I thought you failed Physics... remember?

I ordered mine last week through www.powernotebooks.com Good company with a reseller rating of over 9.6 on www.resellerratings.com

I think they still have a special on that notebook that they will give you a free ASUS hard case ($129 value) with the notebook along with some other free extras.

They actually shipped (paied for ground shipping) my Hard Case first (ground) which I was surprised since I really wanted this case and then they shipped my notebook 3 days later (2 Day air at no extra charge)

My Z81sp is due to arrive on monday and my hardcase I will get on tuesday. Their costomer service has been great so far.

    Edit:
on resellerratings.com they have a perfect "10" 6 month rating alson with a 9.99 life time rating
