Anyone out there with an ASUS G2S notebook? Does Crysis run on it?

    Hello.

I have an ASUS G2S-B1 notebook. I spent the extra cash on this notebook to play games. Games like Crysis. But Crysis won't work.

Here is a link to my previous attempt at solving the problem:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=192470

Many people tried to help (which I greatly appreciate) but ultimately I still cannot play Crysis, which blows. I got F.E.A.R. and BF2 and Call of Duty 4 and they all work, but for some reason Crysis won't, and it's really the game I want to play most.

At this point, I'm just gonna wait 'til the patch comes out and pray for a miracle.

In the meantime, I thought I'd ask if there were other Asus G2S owners dealing with same problems, or others, or if Crysis works well on theirs and mine is just a dud or something.

    Please, share!

I don't know the specs, but my friend's GS2 can play Crysis almost flawlessly, and just saying, you're not missing much gameplay-wise.

I know Crysis works, that game has its own little bag of issues you may have to deal with. So in this case you may need to see out a crysis forum and not the notebook forums for a good answer.

After reading that thread of yours. Try using the latest Laptopvideo2go.com drivers (169.21 or something similar). Those drivers have fixes for Crysis, make sure to do a clean install using a program like Diver Cleaner.

    Good Luck
