I was wanting to know what kind of results these are getting in game? Do you have to lower the screen resolution? What FPS do you get?

W3v would play very well, WoW is not a very GPU demanding game.

It runs on my low end old Athlon XP desktop with intergrated well on low settings.

Not sure of the z33Ae, but I'm sure it will run, the question is how well!

i used to play Wow on my M6Ne(1.6GHz Dothan, 1GB ram, MR9700), i quit though.

i had my resolution set on 1024x768 with 32bit color depth and most other settings on medium. i can get a pretty decent fps pretty much everywhere in the game. the only slow downs i encounter were i'm in the capital cities like Ironforge or Origgmar.

so i think the W3V would be able to run WoW nicely with similar settings.

The Z33ae's integrated graphics are good.. but I think WOW may be pushing it....... basically if there are users who play WOW on say a Z63a.... then you'd be good with the Z33ae because they have the same graphics chipset.....

Come to think of it, a friend of ours was playing WoW on his Dell on the previous gen Centrino chipset [400FSB] and DDR333 RAM. He played just fine on lower settings. You should be able to do even better since the Z33Ae is a generation ahead of his chipset.

    Sasha,

That Dell has integrated graphics? If so, yeah the entire chipset is a generation newer... but one of the biggest jumps was how much better the integrated graphics got.... if that is the case if he wanted to go with the smaller Z33, it should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to eliminate the Z33Ae since it sounds like it's on the edge of playing it.

I play the Battle for Middle Earth 2 on my W3V all the time and it can run Ultra High with some lag, but Medium outstandingly. I do have 1GB conclusive RAM though.
I say this because BFME 2 is a similar game because it's RTS.
