Hope everyone have seen the upcoming win 8 laptop/tablet The answer to all our Windows 8 dreams: The Ivy Bridge Asus Transformer Book | ExtremeTech which will be X86 and therefore a fully functioning laptop, but also being a tablet.

But I havent found out if Asus will only release a glossy version? (Not sure if making a screen touch sensitive restricts it from being matte)

    Here is some videos
Asus Transformer Book @ Computex 2012 - YouTube
Asus Transformer Book hands-on video - The Verge at Computex Taipei - YouTube

And the screen look glossy in all the videos I can find :/

(I know its only a concept, but they say it will launch together with Win8 so not that far from done)

I think it has to be glossy. I've never used a capacitive touchscreen that was matte

Hello my name is Jeffrey and I work for ASUS Customer Loyalty Team

It's not glossy it's actually glass however if you did want a matte screen you can always purchase an anti glare film.

Have not heard anything yet regarding a matte glass screen.

In one video they said together with Windows 8

Okay, hope you will sell it with Matte as default, dont want to apply film, always gets air bubbles :) Also I am not sure where to buy such filters in Denmark
