If i move it slightly my games flicker on and off all the time, not sure why this is. I'm using ICS9LPR363DGLF as the PLL. I can get it to overclock to 2.9Ghz but its definitely not stable at even 2.6.
Just wondering if anybody else has had any success and/or how I can get some!
    CPU is T9400.

Did you try ICS9LPR604AGLF fsb ? Your pll is definitly not stable on G50's.
    I can O/C my p8600 (2.4Ghz) up to 2.9Ghz without a single problem in my G50v-ak043k.
It's running @2.85 most of the time.

So did you get anywhere with this? I tried SetFSB the other day with the ICS9LPR604AGLF PLL. It seems to work fine for the first setting but I run into problems if I try other settings or when removing it and applying another. For example, mine starts at 199.9 stock, I'll bump it 230 and it will be fine. Although if I try to then bump it to 249 or bring it back to 199 it will go into a continuous reboot cycle until I pull the battery. :(

Are their any set intervals / setting I need to use for my values? And is this a one time setting or can I turn it on and off like using Direct Console? By the way I'm using it on a G50VT-A2 running XP Pro.

    Thanks

I didn't get anywhere, but i'm gunna try again because my stubborness means I NEED to know why this doesn't work...
I'm gunna flash my GS back to its original clocks, because whenever I get anywhere near the DirectConsole overcock level on SetFSB, it crashes my video driver for some reason, causing a looping crash cycle, which really irritates me!
    I'll have another go when I've re-flashed.
Mr., I think you should try going up in more steady intervals, see if that makes any difference.
And also you'll have to overclock it whenever you start windows, it doesn not affect directconsole in anyway unfortunately!

Thanks for the info. Can you explain what you mean by steady intervals? Or what those might be? I was trying to use the values which someone had posted in another thread for the supposed Direct Console overclock values. I figured those where a good starting point. The funny thing is the first change always works fine but if I try to change it again (up or down), I get the "looping crash cycle".

For the record, I'm running it on XP Pro (32-bit) with the most current video drivers from Nvidia's website and without Direct Console.

I find increasing the FSB by around 10-15, setting, then doing at least 1 test in 3dmark06 is the best way to find your right overclock, i got to 2.8ghz but after that got BSODS, so its basically the same OC as Direct Console.
I'm not sure whats causing your problem... I had issues with video drivers crashing when I first tried, updated to DOX 142.46 and now I can do the OC.
But if i can only get to 2.8 I dont know whether there is much point if I can get that with Direct console.
