    Hi guys, i have a G50v, but 1 day my headphone jack got damage so now they Laptop "thinks" there is headphones in 24/7 so i have NO sound coming from my speakers.. I did this regedit to fix it:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    in there are a enumerated sequence of sub-keys in my case, from 0000 to 0007.

    Search for the one that has a subkey named "Settings". This key has a value named "ForceDisableJD" with a value set (probably) to "00", double click it and change to "FF"

    Reboot your computer.

    But i was wondering is there a way in the registry to swap the outputs of the jacks, ie make the mic jack act as my headphone jack, because the headphone jack is the only 1 i need..

    Thanks in advance,

    As you can see in this image there is a folder called "PinConfigOverrideVerbs" so maybe i could switch values and get it to work??

    Tell me what luck you have with this. If the stereo input can be used as a second stereo output that'd be awesome.

    That wont work for me, as you can see here:
    [IMG]..
    That is the only options i am giving and switching them makes no difference..It detects a headphone in the jack even though there is none, i want to swap the jacks because it disables my speakers..and i dont use the other jacks only the headphone jack..
