This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I am in california so trying to save some cash on taxes, basically I am looking for a 15.4" w/ DVI out, decent graphics and around 1gb ram/120+ hard drive between $1k and $1.2k, not averse to building my own but looks like all the asus barebones don't have a dvi out

    Yea, that's for the WXGA screen. The one I linked to actually has the WSXGA+ screen. That's the difference between the AK035 and AK048.

    Hmm mine is going to be hooked up to a 24" dell via HDMI 95% of the time so i think i can get away with the lower res, i presume the video card can drive a 1920x1200 external display?
