    Are VGA Cards replaceable in Laptops ?

    I ask around in my local computer shops and they say it is impossible. I am on an Asus G50V, I took it apart and unplugged the Bios battery, (because i changed a setting in the bios and it wouldn't even get to the boot screen anymore) after putting it all back together, I could hear the sound of the start up, but now the screen is just grey. I checked all my plugins, they are all good, I can also dim and light up the screen, or turn it off. Here is what i need replaced:

    Its a Nvidia G94-655-81
    Also note that the picture VGA card looks a little differen't than mine.

    well not all laptops support the replacement of their vga card. the g50v however, uses the mxm format but it's only special for that laptop. therefore you would have to get it replaced directly from another g50v or from asus.
