Are any of these programs harmful? my computer seems to be slower then it was a couple of weeks ago. I constantly defrag and virus scan, but nothing has changed. Are any of these spyware? if so, how do i get rid of them?

    Thanks a lot!

Google the ones you are unsure of. Find out what they do. If you want to delete it. Press winkey+run>type 'msconfig' without quotes>startup tab> uncheck> apply>restart

It's often impossible to say, as malware is rarely named as malware (you'll never see haxor.exe).

Download and run a few free anti-malware (anti-spyware, -virus, -rootkit, etc) programs (though remember to uninstall them afterwards, as they might add to your resource usage if you let them accumulate).

And if your computer still runs slow, monitor cpu usage and try to identify which process is responsible.

You might also consider turning off some Vista eye-candy, or adding more RAM (how much do you have?).

I recommend tweaking. You have 78 processes. Surely you don't need atleast 1/2.

Check my Vista Optimization thread, or WinXP install, depending on your OS.

I recognize a lot of the stuff you have but some of it I don't (like Live.fm or whatever it's called). You should be able to tell pretty well heuristically if something is fine or not, since you know better what legitimate software is installed on your computer.

And for the rest, indeed, google. And run a spyware scan if you suspect foul play. :)
