My G50 speakers are buzzing when played a certain pitch and it is annoying when I watch some video clips. I am not sure if my speakers are defective or if they are just weak so that's why it is making the buzzing noise.

So can you please test this out by:
-First, make sure your volume is set to at least 70.
-Then opening the red speaker icon (Realtek HD Audio Manager) on the bottom right corner beside the time.
-Inside the program, go under the tab "Speakers"
-Then go under the tab "Speaker Configuration"
-From there, click the blue "play" button and a short audio test will start.
Please tell me if you notice a "buzzing/humming" sound from the speakers. You may have to do it a few time to hear it.

Let me know asap Thanks!!! :)

My speakers buzz with the right frequency at the right volume on my G50V-A2. I'm not sure if it's the speakers themselves or the chassis near them... it's definitely got a few sympathetic frequencies that make it "fart".

Just have to say that It's not so unusual that an integrated sound card is having some major static background noise problems. They're pretty much really sensitive to all the interference going on in the laptop, and as they're soldered on and usually not so great quality.. that's what I've heard anyways.

It can be also caused by something else completely, I had my speakers buzz real loudly when hooked to my desktop PC(with a separate pci soundblaster audigy card), but they don't buzz at all while on my laptop. I believe it was because of improper grounding + metal casing + old power unit.

Check your grounding and bad wiring(audio). It can be something else, though :p Hope this helps some.

I think it may be caused by the EQ in the realtek software. Turn off all EQ settings and see if that helps.
