As I said before I have several P4 HT on my office so I know what I'm talking about...

P4 HT show TWO CPUs under Windows Task Manager WHEN HT IS ENABLED ON THE BIOS. If the BIOS is configured not to use HT, then it only displays one CPU...

P.S.- By the way, Having dual CPUs is not the same as DUAL CORE... ;)

    Cheers!

I know this thread is a little old. But I have a question. I am also struggling to decide between the G1 or the G1S but I was wondering if it were possible to get the G1 and upgrade it so that it would be compatible with direct X10.

Secondly I read somewhere that the 2 year warranty is dealt with through the reseller and not through Asus.

Finally has anyone heard a release date more accurate then "sometime in june"

    Thanks :)

Not sure about the warranty, I would like to know as well.

But the G1s is already out right now!

Just to reiterate, the G1S has been released. :)

The G1P can't upgrade to a DX10 GPU, but you can still run DX10 games in DX9.

The warranty is 2 Years Asus Global.

If you customize the notebook then, you will get the reseller warranty.
