Hello!
I saw a deal for an ASUS notebook. The seller calls the model 'ASUS K53E BBR7'. I googled the web for reviews on this model. But all I've been coming across are reviews for 'ASUS K53E'. No page mentions the BBR7. What exactly does the BBR7 stand for?
Even ASUS' India website (I'm from India) lists only one ASUS K53E. Under this name it has a host of notebooks with different processors.

Can anyone tell me what this terminology means?
Thanks.

The K53E is the model name and the BBR7 is the submodel, which designates a particular set of specifications. This one has an i3 processor, as opposed to an i5. The BBR part of the name implies that it is a Best Buy (american retailer) specific model.

@ALLurGroceries: Thanks for the reply, mate.
The situation for me now is that, there is an online seller who is selling me this notebook for a certain price. He has posted the specifications for this. I, personally, would like to verify the specifications with some official page.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to find this specific BBR7 model's specification in any official page. And I'm seeing very different versions in different pages. Can anyone tell me where I can find the official specs?
Thanks. -

Since Best Buy removes products from its main website when they are sold out, it can be hard to find the exact specs. I found them on a local Best Buy site instead. Source: Clearance ? Best Buy - Aberdeen

Thanks a lot for the reply, ALLurGroceries.
I guess I'll just be missing the VGA port.
P.S. Googled around and came up with this page for specifications. This says the notebook DOES have a VGA port.

Yes since the K53E has a VGA port in its chassis, all submodels should have VGA.
You can see it on the press photos.
