That is interesting news indeed. I like the idea of being able to see more variety in person.

I seriously doubt that my local Best Buy will actually stock Asus notebooks though.

I want to get the accidental damage warranty from Best Buy. As much as I drop my phone, I know I'm going to drop the G1. I've droped phones around 3-4 times in saltwater in the last 5 years too.

Does Best Buy deliver stuff into Europe? I don't seem to find that information
from their site. And what about taxes? G1 seems pretty temptating.

Ok then, are there any online stores that will deliver an Asus G1 for me into Europe? :)

Living in Finland (the very northern Europe). There are a couple shops that sell it here but they don't have it in stock ATM, estimated time of arrival is 26th day.

To be honest, Asus couldnt have pick a worser retailer. I dont know why they chose BestBuy, it should have been Fry's IMO. Well at least I got a chance to look at the G1 up close. I'm very impress with the screen, it looks great just as described.

Hey, found one. Do you dear forummates have any experiences on
excaliberpc.com? G1 with Vista Premium and transported by FedEx priority would
    cost only 2030 dollars.

Just FYI, most bestbuy store has it. It's just not on display. I saw two in the little laptop cage they have locked up.
