Recently I bought Asus A42JK (Gray) with 1Gb ATI graphic card, I've been told the laptop has two Graphic cards, internal and external (the ATI), how do I know which one is running? and how to switch between them?

Published specs for the A42JK is that it has only the 1GB discrete ATI 5145 gpu, and no integrated gpu. One card, no switching.

Your information source was incorrect :).
