    Recently I bought Asus A42JK (Gray) with 1Gb ATI graphic card, I've been told the laptop has two Graphic cards, internal and external (the ATI), how do I know which one is running? and how to switch between them? ​

    Published specs for the A42JK is that it has only the 1GB discrete ATI 5145 gpu, and no integrated gpu. One card, no switching.

    Your information source was incorrect :).
