My Wifi keeps connecting and disconnecting every few seconds. Sometimes it wont connect at all. I've tried everything I could find online to fix it, I even re-installed my OS with no luck. I'm going to explain all the issues I've had with it since it started.

On the 11th my Wifi was fine, I've never had this issue in the entire year I've had this laptop. The next morning I went to check my emails and it wasn't connected so I went to connect and it kept saying to troubleshoot the issue as it could not get a connection. I then proceeded to do as it said, I reset my modem. That did nothing so I deleted the network from my log and attempted to reconnect. It kept giving me the message 'Network Security Key Mismatch' when I know for fact that is the right password. So I changed the password on the modem, still gave me the message. I then reset the modem to factory, this still did nothing. I also updated the firmware for my modem with no luck. After messing with the modem I decided it had to be my laptop, so I tried a neighbors, theirs kept giving me a troubleshoot error as well. I uninstalled my driver, re installed it, no luck. Then I gave up and just redid my entire OS hoping that would help. Needless to say, I can use Ethernet (wired) but not wireless and unfortunately the wired connection goes to someone else.

What other reasons can this be? No forums had an answer that worked, unless I didn't find the right ones.

    Issue breakdown:
-Connects & Disconnects every few seconds
    -Asks to troubleshoot connection issue
-Gives message 'Network Security Key Mismatch'

    Tried breakdown:
    -Reseting modem
    -Changing modem name/password
    -Restoring modem to factory setting
    -Updating firmware for modem
    -Deleting log for network
-Unchecked 'save power' box in driver properties
    -Uninstalled driver and reinstalled
    -Reinstalled OS

It sounds like your card went kaput. Do you have any other devices that are WiFi ready and able to connect via WiFi to your router?
