Hey guys, i was wondering, My friend has a laptop, about the same size as my A52f, and he has a backlit keyboard. His laptop is broken and i was wondering if I can swap out his keyboard for mine.

I do operate my laptop in dim places, I'm in a music studio a lot and its dark most of the time, and a backlit keyboard would really come in handy.

SO the big question is, CAN I DO IT?

Has anyone put a backlit keyboard in an A52F series laptop?

You need to figure out if the keyboards are actually the same size, and then find a +5V source for the mod. The keyboard should come out relatively easily by depressing some tabs and lifting it out of the chassis ( instructions).
