    Asus A53z NB61 USB port not working/registering

    if you have the user manual, it is port number 7, the one that also has the charger + function. When a flashdrive or any device is plugged in, nothing registers at all... i remember the first thing i put into, a flashdrive, it it said driver was not successfully installed... but i had already put it into a different port and it was working... also, when you wiggle it around, it feels very loose... does anyone know whats wrong or has had this problem before? should i just send it into asus customer support?

    Download & reinstall the driver for that powered USB port from Asus. Also, is that a usb 3.0 port?

    just kidding, i did the wrong thing on the driver, tried it again and this time i clicked "repair driver" and restarted, it worked. thanks!
