Hi,
i am posting this for a friend who's laptop has just stopped working. She was working on a document the whole day and suddenly her laptop (Asus A6000) froze. She thinks it might have been because of overheating, because it was very hot at the time. She had to force it into shut-down, by pressing and holding the power-button. She then let it cool down and tried to switch it on again, but nothing happened. It doesn't boot up, nothing shows up on the screen. The only thing that happens is that the blue email-led on the keyboard that is supposed to blink when the email-client you are using receives new mail is blinking. This makes no sense when the computer has not even started booting. So it might be a way of communicating an error code or it's just odd behavior because of whatever is wrong with the thing. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong with the computer ?

Did it fix the problem?
Asus A6000 won't boot, blue email led keeps blinking.
