I am testing 2x2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM modules but Asus A6JA doesn't seem to support more than 3GB, at least under the latest 217 bios (it shows 2934MB installed). Any idea if there is any work around?

if you're using Vista32bits, it seems that it only recognizes 3gb of RAM. Search the forum as there one thread about a similar issue.

I tried Windows XP SP2 and it shows 2.87GB available, the problem is that under Bios doesnt recognize full 4GB. I do understand that XP cannot see fully 4GB, I have a theory that Asus has limited down to 3GB the total memory when using Intel CoreDuo processor, while with C2D will show full 4GB, again I would be wrong, has anyone tested with other Asus notebooks 2x2GB and worked OK either under Vista 32bit or 64bit?
