Hey guys i've got an Asus A6JM just got a month ago, i have a problem with the screen, all the bright white parts of the screen (ex: internet explorer page)are becoming bright blue (aqua color) and it's really annoying and the letters seem to be shadowy while all the other colors display normally, before it just stayed like that for a bit and then turned to normal after 10 minutes, but now it's staying that way! Everyone advised me to get an Asus but now i'm quite disappointed...might it be a software of hardware problem? because sending it back would be such a pain in the ...! lol thanks!

Hm I'm not sure but sounds like a hardware problem. So you mean you can't see white? Or is it just a colour swap of pure white with aqua?

Nobody can be 100% defect free so... dun be disappointed. Maybe you're a little unlucky, or maybe it's just a small problem. And you might like Asus' tech support :)

i don't know if this will help you.

    1) try BIOS update.. see if it will fix your problem..
    2) update the graphics driver

if the above doesn't work - you can also try to restore the original installation from recovery partition or recovery disk..

if all of the above did not resolve your problem.. it's to have it repaired .. sorry..
