I've been looking for laptop and i've become interested in Asus A6KT. The problem is, that the only owner comment i've seen was from a german guy, complaining about very noisy fan ( comment). Everyone else is just either buying or waiting for it.

so if anyone has it, what is your opinion about it? of course, opinions from non-owners are also welcome :)

    basic info:
    1.8 turion64
    x1600 128+128shared
    1GB ram
wlan b/g, 10/100/1000 lan, bloetooth, irda, 4in1 card reader
    2.8kg

    thank you
    Martin

I've been a critic of the A6 chassis for more than a year.... however I was very impressed with the the price and configuration Asus used in the A6ja which is coming in the states in a few weeks.....

... you're not buying the best chassis... it's good, but it's not the best... do you're going to live with certain issues, but depending on the price of that setup you're looking at there, it may or may not be a good idea. If the A6ja that we're bringing in was a few hundred dollars more, I'd say it was a decent set up, but if you could rumage up a couple hundred more you could get a much better system overall....... but where it's priced if you don't have that much money, it's hardly a "budget" system, even though it's really budget priced.
