    Asus A6v:broken keyboard

    Does anyone know how i can remove the keyboard on this model or if it's even possible? the five,seven and nine keys are broken out of the blue..is there some sort of fix other than replacement?

    well it depends what you mean by 'broken' . The keys have little latches on them, but if they are broken then you'll have to get a whole new KB.

    Its not as hard to do as you man think... there are a number of threads about how to get it off the right way...

    else contact your dealer...

    Sorry, i don't think my message was clear before. I think i got some sauce inside the keyboard when i was eating, and then all of the sudden the five, seven, and nine keys, with some other keys i haven't isolated are no longer registering with contact. I'm just wondering what i should do. I've removed some keys with no traces of anything that would cause it to malfunction...but still doesn't work. any ideas?
