Cant seem to get the speakers (external/internal) working right here. On CD/DVD playback basically all I really hear are the rear sounds. All the voices are just gone. Using mediaplayer and tried going into windows to fix but cant seem to get it right. Any thoughts/advice?

Re-install the sound card drivers and/or try listening to a CD/DVD through headphones (S/PDIF jack). If everything sounds correct via headphones, you might have defective speakers. I had a Z70v that had a bad left screen speaker and it definitely distorted any sounds played back.

    Hope this helps!
