My room-mate has an Asus A7K-X3 laptop with Windows Vista-32 Home Premium. The problem has started with her video card. She has an ATI Mobility Radeon 2600 and in all of the games that she plays, certain areas cause mass amounts of white, rapid flickering; enough to cause a seizure. I used the ATI Mobility Modder tool which effectively corrected her flickering... at the cost of, instead of flickering in those areas, shutting down her computer. It came to the point where, in one of her games, when she died in the game her computer would shut off, too! (Previously she'd flicker when dead instead in said game.) I reverted back to the drivers she had before I installed the Mobility Modder tool, and the flicker came back. It was starting to become unbearable.

I then decided to upgrade her to Windows 7-64. Like earlier, the flicker stopped - instead resulting in complete computer shut-down when playing games.

Today, I downgraded her to WinXP Home-32. I found this thread where a post from Yokozuna gave me hope. However, the drivers for the A7T do not seem to work for the Modem or LAN. So far, using a modding technique I found here, I've been able to successfully install and modify her ATI drivers; however, because I can't get the internet to work, I cannot test what I have done in any of her games.

I seek assistance to find the drivers I need to get her internet and sound working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you found any drivers? I also have downgraded my asus a7k to Xp-32 and am trying to find the drivers for the 4 round quick launch buttons, as well as my wireless lan drivers, as i have a usb d-link plugged in now, until i can find drivers for my built in wireless card. I did however successfully get the mobility modder to work and have great graphics as well as s-video out working.
