    Hi all,
working away yesterday afternoon, laptop just turns off. was connected to power and appeared charged.
unable to turn on, held down start button, removed power cable, removed battery. power is ok as another appliance used in the power point, green light is working on the adapter as well.

Have you tried booting with only one stick of RAM at a time to see if it will power on?

How dead is it, do you get charging LEDs, and when you press the power button do any status LEDs blink?
