    Dear all,

My Asus A8 freezes the moment I press the wireless button which turns on the wireless. I have to restart in Safe Mode and do a system restore.

I've tried doing this for about 3 times and it keeps happening. It has definitely got something to do with wireless.
My network adapter is Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, Driver Version: 11.5.0.32
I will be glad to provide any more information if necessary. Thanks all.

    Hello and welcome here :)

I take it that by "Safe Mode and do a system restore" You mean having to select "Use the latest good version" thing? Because System restore means using the option to completely wipe out the OS and restore the original one...
It might be ASUS ATK (the part that handles the special keys, albeit I am not sure if it also does other things or not) or the intel wireless software.
As reinstalling ASUS ATK is easier, I suggest you try that first. You can remove it using the "Add/Remove hardware" and to re-install, you just need to download it off ASUS's support site and install it.
