    Asus A8Jm never turns off by itself

    It's a minor issue with my laptop, hope to get some insight. I have set my laptop to 1) Turn off monitor "after 20min", 2) Turn off hard disks "after 5 hours", 3) "Never" standby, and 4) Hibernates "after 4 hours", over the Power option properties.

    However, a number of times I left my laptop on in the morning and when I came home after 7-9 hours, the laptop was still on and running with screen turned off. What could I do to make it turn off automatically after 5 hours of idle with some programs running in the background?
