Hey, I have an Asus a8jm, but was wondering what software I need to use the camera? It didn't come with any. Thanks

I'm guessing if you just use a program that uses a camera it should work (not sure though b/c i dont have that notebook). try using AIM or Windows messenger or some message program, and try to connect to someone else with video, see if that works. I have Studio 11 Ultimate and my camera works through that, so Im guessing just any old program that can use a camera should work

Asus provides Lifeframe for use with the webcams. Be sure to download the appropriate version. Lifeframe works with notebooks running Core Duo processors. For those running Core 2 Duo notebooks, download Lifeframe2. Try finding it at the Asus support site

If you can't find it for your specific notebook model, download it from the Asus site for any other model of notebook. It's what I did and the software worked fine.
