    Asus A8js and Skype?

    Can Asus A8js owners please comment on the mic quality. Is the mic good enough to use with skype (disregarding the webcam)?


    (I did use the search function however I was unable find something and I do not have the time to look through the 85 page lounge post)

    I find the mic to be SUPER sensitive when the Microphone boost option is enabled. I could hear my gulps when drinking water. The only problem is that its beside the keyboard, so it picks up a lot of keyboard noise while typing or moving your finger on the touchpad.

    And on boost, It also picks up every noise your computer makes as well. Probably not the greatest place to put a built-in mic, but works, I suppose.

    ok, so the mic is not completely useless and can be used with skype to some satisfaction?
