Err.... in a pain in the butt, more than half of the Asus software that came with my laptop wouldn't open and all give the error, "this program has stopping working, finding a solution to the problem" with a loading bar.

I want to see if I can put the recovery on a USB since Zenbooks do not have CD/DVD drive, but the program won't open at all. I tried reinstalling it, and installing an updated version but it won't work still.

    Asus Zenbook Ux31E

    Help? Thank you!

That sounds like a software or OS corruption issue, if half of the software literally crashes. Have you tried completely uninstalling Ai Recovery and then reinstalling it (make sure to run the installer as administrator)?

    Yes I have :(

It's actually not only the AI Recovery, the Bios Updater, Power Wiz, and several other things had the same problem. I think the Face Recognition software too. I completely uninstalled them and deleted the program's folders. BUt when I install it again, it gives the same problem. A real upset to get a new laptop and the second you try to use some software, they break lol.

That's pretty weird. You might try uninstalling it and then removing any leftover program files and registry entries. Then try reinstalling it again, sometimes uninstallers don't really work.

Besides that, maybe you can check the event viewer for errors or warnings that might give you a clue. You can also run an sfc /scannow to check for OS file corruption.

Do any non-asus programs give you trouble with crashes? If they do, maybe try a memory test too.

If it's only ASUS programs, maybe there is a shared DLL or other program file that is corrupted and causing your crashes.
