I recently purchased a G53 from Newegg. Inside the box there was a card that says I can register for 1 year free accidental damage warranty if I fill it out, and send it with a copy of my receipt to:

    Attn: ASUS Accidental Damage Warranty
    ASUS Computer International
    44370 Nobel Drive
    Fremont, CA 94538
    USA

I sent it on 10/7/2011. A few days ago, it came back to me marked "not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward" from the USPS.

I then noticed the card refers you to adw.asus.com. When I go and register my system there, it says to print out the confirmation email I get, and send it to a different address, which is:

    ASUS Computer International
    Attn: ADP Department
    800 Corporate Way
    Fremont, CA 94539

I've checked google and this 2nd address seems to be the correct one. Not sure why they'd include the wrong address on drop-in card in the box. Hopefully no one is denied service due to an error on their part.

Hrmm, maybe that specific G53SW was one of the first batches to come out with that previous address.

I've seen this before - it's unfortunate that they are still sending out cards with the wrong address.
