Yup, saw this just a few minutes ago. It sure looks awesome except for the purple lights. I'm not really a fan of purple

    Wow!
I have seen some great prototypes in my day, but this looks doable, nice.
I don't see a optical drive or were all the ports go, to bad you see it only from one angle.

I know i like it too when i think about the fact that you could actually use this in bed without having to move even a little to look at the keyboard that's pretty good.

I think that if they have the lights then it will be multi color with an off feature. That would be great.

I hope they come out with this soon, so that others can then steal the concept... JK

I like the way the keyboard tilts up, which will be great for wrist strain...

Maybe the next wave of netbooks?? Make em even smaller after they put it into their laptop like netbooks are the next wave for them (since it probably makes up a good chunk of their revenue)

Looks real nice but I don't see any benefits to the design as it isn't any thinner.

I think it's the concept of having a retractable keyboard that will drive the interest for most people. Even if the Airo won't sell very well, it is an innovative step for Asus and will help with Asus's brand recognition. Their marketing strategies are somewhat unconventional.... it's been rumored that instead of spending millions of dollars on advertising, they are spending that money on "cool" products that may or may not even have a market yet; ultimately this would be a win-win scenario that helps both the consumers (having these cool gadgets) and Asus (expanding their brand recognition).

Another example is the Eee Keyboard. The market for this particular product clearly doesn't exist (yet), but Asus has already announced that it will go into production in a few months.
