Spill any rumors, ideas, facts, or opinions of the upcoming 17" Asus C80S Laptop. Is it coming out with a GeForce 8800M? And would it hold the same price w/ same specs as the Asus C90S by then?

It is never a good idea to spread rumors and increase people's hopes.. :D
But I will give my 2 cents below. You can figure out whether its insider information or rumor mill at work.. ;)

C90S is 15.4inch launching before Mid July. With possible updated version C90P / C91x following shortly sometime in Q4 2007.
C80 is 17inch launching Q4 2007 with possible delay to Q1 2008. May support DDR3 and will use Desktop C2D chips
C70 is 19inch launching Q3 2008. will support DDR3 and will also use Desktop C2D chips
C30 is 13.3inch launching Q2 2008. will support DDR2 and use mobile chipset.

There really needs to be a Sticky thread in this forum for
Upcoming & Unreleased Notebooks: Rumors & discussion. Stop making more threads about this stuff...blah blah...

    You get the idea.

The C70 sounds nice. What if I wait for that? It would be crazy to imagine what would be in store for that! For now- I'm saving up loads of $$ and going to play it by ear.

When is the estimated debut for Geforce 9000s? Could it come out by the time of the C30 or C70?

    Should C30 be a 27" notebook?
    C90-15.4"
    C80-17"
    C70-19"
    C60-21"
    C50-23"
    C40-25"
    C30-27"

    Just kidding :D

At that rate, I can't wait for the 50" version (C negative 11.5?)

This thread reminds me of measuring the magnitudes of stars (lower means brighter and the sun's apparent (meaning how we percieve it) is like -50)

So the C-11.5 I suppose you would need three mean to operate it, it has a numpad, full biometric scanner and...a fullsize tennis court?

    Yea, more realistically :p

but most of Asus current prototypes have had extraneous side panels, so maybe that could be an extraneous side panel...

Hm. Well, no matter what- I'll save enough money in comparison to an Asus C90S, but by December, or possibly January, will have the 80C with more for the same price. I'm going for the 80C and will not wait forever for a notebook. It should last me a while.
