    Asus C90 - CD Rom just disappeared

    Hi guys..

    just started my C90 today and all of sudden the cd om drive is gone. i have vista ultimate 32 bit n 64 bit

    on 32 bit i cant locate anything in device manager or the explorer to find anything related to my cd rom which Mata****a something, i think it comes standard when you buy from Gentech..

    on 64 bit i can see its there but then when i put a cd or dvd it just comes out blank and says please insert disc in the drive..

    i guess my drive is gone.. or is there anything i can do to fix this issue..?

    help please.. and is there anyone who has any set up guide for wirelesee networking also... I am using N1 belkin wireless modem router..

    well i just logged on to 64 bit vits and its also gone from there...

    logged on the event viewer in safe mode and got the reports on cdrom..
    its attatched in txt format..

    any help guys??

    i also dun have any i tunes or any burning software installed as i cudnt burn anything anyway... also i dun have any upper filters or lower filters in cdrom registry.. hmmm also system is clean of any malicious stuff and virus.. checked it with symantec and eset smart security...

    fixed it by opening the ace and pushing the drive in , as it was a bit looose...

    Make sure the screw is there that holds it in place!
