    Asus C90S + WD 250GB ?

    Hi all i was just wondering if a c90s could take a 250GB hard drive.
    It say upto 160 on the spec sheet but ive heard a 250 works.

    I haven't heard of HDD limitations for computers. As long as it can fit it and your computer supports that interface (SATA, ATA, SCSI etc....) it will work.

    Yea, it works. I'm using it.

    As for HDD limitations, there are limitations on the older model laptops running ATA-6 platforms. A BIOS issue, though I'm not sure why. My eMachines, for what I've read anyways, does not support over 200 GB, but with proper software it will work, but you have to boot up, and then start the software so it will recognize the entire drive.

    I almost filled the while thing up already :/ had to go clean out some files that I didnt need and back up stuff on dvd.

    Yea, I'm looking at buying either another 500 GB External drive or a 1 TB external drive. E-SATA connection of course! :p My current 500 GB drive is USB 2.0 formated in FAT-32 so I can switch between any computer if need be.
