Yeah I don't understand the people that are satisfied with calling the 7700 an upgrade.

Exactly what I am thinking. I believe ASUS puts more money in advertising than developing new GPU's for the C90S.
As I said before, I feel cheated and I don't think I'll buy ASUS again if they don't come up with a solution, soon.

...what advertising? Still hardly anyone outside the tech community has heard of Asus. The EeePC may have made the news, but still people don't hear or see the Asus part. I was talking to someone about my Notebook (pre Asus logo on lid) and I tell them its an Asus and they said "the motherboard makers?" out of surprise. Most of the Asus notebooks sold in the US are still not sold under the Asus name.

I agree. When I started looking for my notebook I didn't even know Asus was an option until I stumbled upon the C90. I was originally looking at Alienwares and Sagers. Luckily (can't believe I said luckily lmao) I found the C90.

Not advertising but more like promoting. When the c90 was orignally announced many sites that interviewed them, said that Asus was "promising gpu upgrades" or "in the works".

This was the advertising I was refering to. There isnt any advertising (commercial) for hardly any gaming laptops. I think I remember a commercial for an Alienware last year but thats it. Asus would do a lot better to advertise. There are plenty of people that would jump on them especially with their good prices.

I really do love the C90s, but I guess I will be a little teed off if they don't produce a real upgrade just on general principle.
