Ok, I've mentioned before that I've been getting BSOD randomly. Finally I resorted to formatting my Vista partition and reinstalling vowing not to use any drivers from the driver disk. After running 2 days with no new BSOD I got 3 today, WTF. XP runs fine, thank you.
Now here are some interesting things I've found since I've been installing and reinstalling Vista on the C90S. First off, there is always a slight freeze when you switch from ac to battery, but if you flash your BIOS (801 and below) the freeze will be gone. If you install Windows again, the freeze returns. Secondly what ever is causing the BSOD, its seems to be getting worst. At first is was only maybe one a week, now I'm looking at along the lines of 3 a day and when they happen, they happen in groups. XP does not seem to be suffering from these BSOD. Now it might also be the BIOS altering the voltage to the CPU or some kind of change, I just went back to 601 (I wanna try 704, never tried that one before), but in recent memory the BSOD only happened in 801 and 901.
Any ideas?

did you install all of the windows updates that were available? I just installed XP on mine and I noticed that windows update had a hardware update for ATK0100 or something like that.

Couldn't install them, said newer version installed. I pulled it off the ATK section on the Asus site.
