The quads should work. Someone in another forum put a QX9650 in it and it worked. I intend to stick a normal Q9650 in soon.

You need to unzip the file first and then use ultraISO to burn to the CD/DVD.

Interesting, I haven't test quad core yet and thanks for the information.

NOW someone say there is something wrong with C90P,so C90P can not sell in USA ,SO they take c90P to china, now only very few people touch the C90p, BUT more and more people begin to play this notebook,my C90P :e2220 120G 1G DDR2 800 ,256 MB 8600MGT, in china ,c90p IS ONLY 8600mgt,no other version ,but somnone already use 9600MGT profesional verion QuadroFX770M,the newst cpu IS Q8200 ,M1 STEPPING, this is true ,now the newst bios i have is 0704 ,but 0604 is enough for Q8200,
MY english is very poor ,my word must have lots of mistake,

other stepping Q8200 can not run in c90p

the temperature of my c90p display card normally is 68 deg c,so i want to konw what is the temp of your c90p ,and how to decrease the temperature

now here is night ,but usa is morning, hope ereryong have a nice day

I don't they did it. The laptop crashed mid installation of windows or shortly thereafter.

However the Q9650 is 95W TDP not 130W and as it is a proper E0 stepping it can be undervolted nicely to run closer to 65W at stock clocks (similiar to that of the Q9550S which is simply an undervolted E0 Q9550). On stock volts Q9650's usually hit nearly 4ghz so undervolting should be quite successful.

The person who put the QX9650 also tried to OC it and found the limit to be around 370 on the fsb meaning that should one need extra power 3.33ghz might be attainable! :)

Feng0713 I recommend getting a Q9550 or Q9650 E0 stepping chip and bump your ram from 1gig to 4gig's. If it doesn't work you can simply return it. Nothing lost. Share your experiences on here through :p

I THINK Q8200 IS MORE CHEAPER THAN q9650, ALSO Q8200 IS 4 CORE ,I THINK ,King of Interns SHOULD GET Q8200 FIRST

If you want the inferior processor be my guest and get in but I would rather wait for prices to drop and then get a Q9650 :)

I bought mine from another NBR user earlier in the summer. I used to own the C90S. You can get it from Gentechpc.com in the USA. I think asus did skimp on the C90P's development however as my motherboard blew after just a months use and for half of that time I didn't use it as I was waiting for my SSD to get back to me after it died. So yeah either it is my shocking luck this summer or that the C90P is a bit of a lemon. We shall see. I loved the C90S though so want to give it the best of chances...(presently still don't have it, due to be returned from repair facility early next week :) haven't seen it since early last month lol and kinda miss it haha)

Really. Who tested it, would love to see!

I cannot give you a screenshot as I haven't got my laptop back yet from the repair centre and I also haven't upgraded the processor yet so presently it just has the E6600. As soon as I upgrade it I will put up screenshots but it maybe some time as money is short.

yeah I can access it but can't read anything. I think it is because I haven't got the chinese characters pack installed. I shall figure out how to do that and then have another look. Is it possible to translate the page into english once I have made it readable?

Still it is very good news that someone has proved that the C90P can take the best quads out there! I won't be hesitating in buying one now :) The C90P can also take up to 8GB of memory so it should be quite fast with a 64bit OS installed
