Is there a definitive battery % at which the oem charger light should change from amber to green? I swear mine used to change to green at 100% but now does so at 95%. If I leave it plugged in on green it will eventually charge to 100%
Mine is the UX31A-BHI5T11 purchased from Best buy in Jan. 2013.
Can anyone find official documentation on the correct function of charger light re battery % from Asus? There is nothing about it in user manual.
What % does your charger light change from amber to green?
If mine is not functioning properly as described is there any user fix? I can only hypothesize this behavior is somehow due to windows 8.1 update or a single try with a non - oem charger.
THANKS!

For example, this 100% can mean 2000mAh instead of 22000mAh so you can only use it for a few minutes. -
Thanks but that's not the question I asked. If my computer works brand new with a brand new battery what percentage should the charger light change from the Amber to green

It should be green when it's fully charged.
Due to battery protection, the fully charged state can be between 95% to 100% when the system isn't charging the battery. -
Ok, now can anyone find this posted anyplace by ASUS? I have read posts claiming it should turn green at 95% too. My computer still has great battery life and will charge to 100 if left plugged in after led is green so I see no reason for it to now turn green at 95 consistently, then if left plugged in it goes to 100.
If fully charged is now 95 then why will it still go to 100 if left plugged in? The real question is why doesn't ASUS explain this in any documentation.
