I don't know but starting this month, every time I log in my username and password, my start-up time lags significantly due to my controldeck displaying a message that it's not working. However, when I check my controldeck, everything seems fine. WHat seems to be the problem? :(

comrade_commissar7, I just PM'ed you but I just noticed what may be a easy fix - from Windows - open control panel - programs and features - go to control deck, right click and choose repair.
Please let us know if this works.

Josea,I have an asus laptop also and I have the same problem a comrade_commissar7. This happens when i start up my laptop. I did what you said. After clicking repair i get a pop up message saying that the feature i am trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Its also asking me for an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package '409 msi'. I tried to search it in my laptop but got nothing.

    Please help me. Thanks

gusmatikas, it sounds like the repair failed due to missing install files. I would recommend removing control deck (first check what version you have installed via control panel - programs and features)- , reboot and install it again, The files can be found here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download
OPtion 3 - click start button

    Product -notebook
    Model - Apps
    OS - Win 7 (32 or 64 BIT)

You will see a list of numerous versions, I would install the same version you had before, or if that does not work try a newer version.
