    Hullo team,

I purchased a Asus 1001HA today. Ive been trying to search on how to change the hard drive but with no luck. Ive got a 500gb scorpio blue laying around

It seems you need to disassemble the notebook to reach it as theres no compartment underneath.

Anyone got instructions on how to?

    TIA

I believe the 1001HA has the same chassis as the 1008HA. This may give you a better idea on how to replace the hard drive:

It's a PITA, but definitely doable. You'll have to break your "warranty void" sticker that covers one of the screws under the keyboard, but if you're careful enough, you could remove it without actually tearing it. Good luck :)
